Chapter 13 Confirmation Hearings
Effective in Chapter 13 cases filed June 1, 2015, a confirmation hearing date will be scheduled and noticed within the 341 Meeting of Creditors Notice mailed by the Chapter 13 trustees. A revised Chapter 13 Procedures Manual will be posted soon.

NOTICE REGARDING NEW LOCAL RULES
The Seventh Circuit has approved the Bankruptcy Court.s new Local Rules. The Rules become effective on June 1, 2012 and can be found on the Court's Operational Guides/Rules Page. The new Rules are extensive and comprehensive, and as a whole, constitute a substantial revision of the prior rules. Attorneys and any and all parties practicing in this Court should carefully review the Rules and familiarize themselves with any new provisions and/or changes. The Court expects any attorney or party appearing before the Court to comply with these Rules.
Notice to the Bar
Effective November 1, 2012 Illinois Southern Bankruptcy Court will no longer accept proposed orders in WordPerfect format. Proposed orders will need to be submitted in Microsoft Word (.doc) format. All other requirements for submission of proposed orders remain in effect.
Two new events for rule 3002.1 have been added to the CM/ECF menu of Bankruptcy, Claim Actions. The events are Notice of Postpetition Fees, Expenses, and Charges (No Proof of Claim Filed) and Response to Notice of Final Cure Payment (No Proof of Claim Filed). Creditors who have not previously filed a proof of claim can use these events to file the supplemental Notice of Postpetition Fees, Expenses, and Charges, Official Form B10S2 or a Response to a Notice of Final Cure Payment. These events will appear on the docket report instead of the claims register.
